I'm proud to say "I'm a childcare provider"!
I don't wear power suits, make speeches, or drive a fancy sports car.

I've never talked on a car phone, made a big sale, or been elected to the senate.

I don't "do lunch", have a big impressive office, or carry a beeper.

I spend my days wiping away tears, giving hugs, and serving chicken nuggets.

A good day is when I go through a whole day without a temper tantrum,
bite mark, or a toilet training accident.

My "office" is a room full of brightly colored toys and laughing children.

You may not think that what I do is very important and you may even
whisper behind my back "what a waste of a good mind." But I know better.

I make a difference because I'm changing the world one child at a time.

Everyday I'm getting the once in a lifetime chance to touch the future.

I'm proud to say "I'm a childcare provider"!

Programs

INFANT PROGRAM
My Infant Program provides care for children 6 weeks of age to approximately 12 months of age. In order to provide the best in quality care and one-on-one attention for each infant, we have a small teacher to child ratio (1 teacher per 3 infants). We work with each child on their own developmental level and help them reach their individual milestones.
TODDLER PROGRAM
My Toddler I Program consists of toddlers from approximately 12 to 16 months of age. This program has a 1 to 4 ratio for the infant transitioning to toddler. Lesson plans are written to include many gross motor activities as well as various sensory experiences.
When the toddler reaches approximately 16 months he/she will move the Toddler II Program until they reach 24 months of age. The Toddler II Program offers plenty of room for learning, playing, socialization, and teaching self-help skills. We also start introducing the Toddler II's to learning centers such as Sand and Water, Pretend, and Block Centers.
TWO'S PROGRAM
My Two's Program expands the learning centers (Pretend, Block, Sand and Water, Reading, and Art Centers) and the children learn through play. This program also includes computer, music, Spanish, and Sign Language classes as well as a special exercise class weekly called Stretch-n-Grow at no cost to families.
PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM
My Pre-School Program is also set-up in learning centers (Pretend, Block, Sand and Water, Reading, Art, Math and Manipulatives, and Writing Center) where the children learn through play. This program also includes computer, music, Spanish, and Sign Language classes as well as a special exercise class weekly called Stretch-n-Grow at no cost to families. Our main focus with this program is kindergarten preparation.

SCHOOL-AGE/ AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
My School Age Program provides before and after school care to area schools, student holidays and winter weather days, winter and spring break care, as well as an exciting summer program.
SUMMER PROGRAM
Our After school activities include snack, homework time, outside play, inside group activities, computer time and many more fun activities for your school-age child to enjoy.  An outside playground area for appropriate age groups, awaits after schoolers each day for their enjoyment.  The Purpose Gallery after schoolers have fun every  day of the week and sometimes do not want to leave the center when their parents arrive for their departure!

Each summer The Purpose Gallery offers a summer program for our school-age students.  As part of the program, students will explore basic academics in the morning.  The subjects covered are those which the students should have learned the previous school year.  This review is done to give the students extra practice and to help them retain the information during the summer months.  Another part of our summer program are the field trips and special guests who visit the center.  Each class goes on one field trip per week.  Field trips include swimming, bowling, duck feeding, hay rides, museums, Going Bonkers, Chuckie Cheeses, Zoo and the movies.  Special guests include McGruff the Crime Dog, a dentist, and the Police K-9 Unit.  A favorite of our summer program students is Big Splash Day!  This event occurs when a local fire station comes to The Purpose Gallery and sprays the students with their fire hose!  We also conduct a book fair for our students and parents to purchase many interesting and informative books.
